Welcome Hermana Hachtel!

Hermana Hachtel currently lives in Highlands Ranch, Colorado with her husband Mark. They are the parents of three grown children. And are truly blessed to have three grandchildren who they absolutely adore. Hermana Hachtel loves serving the Lord through missionary work, this is her third mission. She served as a young adult (many years ago) in San Diego, California, and then recently served in the Colorado Denver South Mission and is now serving with us in the Arequipa, Peru mission.

Hermana Hachtel loves to have the spirit in her home. She is the only member of the church in her household, so she seeks out ways to welcome it by serving as an ordinance worker in the temple, reading her scriptures, and finding that peace that we all can request and accept from our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She loves the gospel of Jesus Christ, and though she has many things to learn she is not shy about making sure that she is serving Him so that His love is ever present.

She also loves to spend time with those precious grandchildren whenever she can, they are all about five hours away but still in Colorado, so trips are more frequent these days. Her hobbies include quilting, knitting, and cake making. And more important today, playing Duo Language whenever she can to learn Spanish.

She is beyond grateful for the opportunity to serve with President and Hermana Chipman; they are both wonderful leaders. Sister Hachtel is prayerful that in some small way she can make a difference for them and for the dear missionaries in the Arequipa Peru Mission.
