About President & Hermana Chipman
President Chipman grew up in Littleton, Colorado to Bob & Vicky Chipman. He was number 4 of 5 children. Although he played the drums for his high school band and played basketball, his biggest love was running cross-country and track. He served a mission in La Paz, Bolivia at the age of 19. Afterwards, he went on to run for BYU and that is where he met Hermana Chipman who was also a member of the BYU Women’s cross-country and track teams. Hermana Chipman grew up in Tooele, Utah to John & Regina Burgoyne. She was the youngest of 6 children and she loves to ski as well as running.
President & Hermana Chipman married while they were students at BYU. President Chipman graduated with a degree in economics and later graduated from the J. Reuben Clark School of Law at BYU. Hermana Chipman graduated in Business Marketing from the Marriot Business School at BYU.
After graduation, they moved to Salt Lake City where President Chipman worked as a law-clerk for a district judge and then they moved to Chicago, Illinois where President Chipman began practicing law at Kirkland & Ellis. They later moved to the Denver area where President Chipman practiced at Brownstein & Hyatt and then later at ChipmanGlasser, LLC.
The Chipman’s raised their kids in Highlands Ranch, Colorado and that is where they call home. They have three grown children, a son-in-law, a daughter-in-law, and two grandchildren. They love hiking and exploring the outdoors of Colorado year round and in all kinds of weather.
