Meet the Maxfields
Elder and Sister Maxfield are from Salt Lake City, Utah and they “bleed red”. They live two blocks from the University of Utah and both are UofU graduates (Lynne with a Bachelors in Music Education and Mark with a Bachelors in Business Economics). Mark later graduated with an MBA from the University of Phoenix. They are blessed to be the parents of 9 Children, 5 Boys and 4 girls. They currently have 21 grandchildren with 3 more on the way.
This is their second mission together. They served a Mission in the Puerto Rico, San Juan Mission where they had the amazing experience of serving during Hurricanes, Irma and Maria. They love camping, sports, reading, MUSIC, genealogy, humanitarian projects, and playing with grandchildren. Lynne, was a professional Stay-at-home mom, but later returned to the work force as a Choral music Teacher/Debate coach at the elementary, middle-school and High School levels. Mark owns his own Real Estate and Property Management business.
They have spent years serving in their community, temple, and in Ward and Stake callings. They love working with the youth and have spent countless hours (and summers) at girl’s camps, scout camps, youth conferences and of course Pioneer Treks. They are grateful to be serving with the wonderful missionaries in the Arequipa, Peru Mission. Come, Visit, better yet, COME, SERVE!
