Post-it

Here are a couple of pictures of my home office.  I spend most of my days here preparing, studying, and organizing. The shelf is full of little toy llamas & alpacas that I’ve collected from various shops because I want to use them for Christmas ornaments this year. As you can see, it has a fall theme right now,  which helps me to know what season of the year it is at home.  I often forget because the weather here is always perfect - 70 degrees and sunny, and the seasons are opposite on this side of the world so I need some visual cues so that I know what month it is!

As you can see, I have an overabundance of post-it notes above my desk.  Most of them are quotes that I have come across and I want to remember.  I’ve never been a big quote person until the mission. I think that it is because I now have more opportunity to find personally meaningful quotes as I study more and attend more meetings.   My post-its have become my source for blog posts, mission conferences teachings, stake conference talks, as well as my guidance for personal study and encouragement.  Every few months,  I clear them off my wall to make room for new ideas and I place them into a dedicated journal.  This works great because I can enjoy them in my journal and I can continue to procrastinate that day when I’m going to get really organized.

For this week’s blog post, I thought I would introduce some of my post-it notes to you. There are some pictured here, but the bulk are pictured with my Travel Photos or (Fotos de Viajes) in a separate section of this blog.  I thought this was fitting because these gems have been discovered as I travel and have experiences on the mission. In the future, I will add more post-its with quotes as I clear off my wall. So, if you are interested in this kind of thing, you may want to check back occasionally.  I will try to make them available at the top of the current month’s travel pictures that I post each week. See below how to find them.

This is how you can navigate to the Post-it messages from the Blog’s homepage.
